Why Choose Angelus Army Tan Leather Dye?

Deep Penetration Formula

This specialised liquid dye penetrates deep into the leather fibres rather than forming a surface coating. This ensures superior durability and long-lasting colour.

Permanent & Long-Lasting Results

Unlike paints, this dye becomes part of the leather itself, making it resistant to cracking, peeling, or fading even with frequent use.

Professional Quality Finish

High pigmentation provides a rich, warm army tan tone suitable for professional restorations and custom leather projects.

Professional Results at Home

Angelus Army Tan Leather Dye provides a reliable solution for achieving even, vibrant, and long-lasting colour on smooth leather surfaces. Its superior penetration and durability make it trusted by professionals, hobbyists, and DIY enthusiasts alike.

Restore, refresh, or transform your leather goods with confidence using this premium-quality permanent leather dye.

Note: Always test on a small hidden area before full application.

How to Use Angelus Leather Dye

View All Leather Dye

1. Prepare the Leather Surface

Ensure that the leather item is clean and free from dirt, dust, or previous finishes. Use a damp cloth to clean the surface if necessary and allow it to dry completely.

2. Masking (Optional)

If you want to protect certain areas from dye, use masking tape to cover them. This is especially useful for shoes with rubber soles or other non-leather components.

3. Shake the Dye Bottle

Shake the Angelus Leather Dye bottle well to ensure the colour pigments are thoroughly mixed. This is essential for a consistent and even colour application.

4. Apply a Small Test Patch

Before applying the dye to the entire surface, test a small, less visible area to ensure the colour is as desired and adheres well to the leather.

5. Dye Application

Use a cotton ball or applicator pad to apply the dye evenly to the leather surface. Work in small sections for thorough coverage. Apply additional coats for a deeper colour, letting each layer dry completely before applying the next.

6. Work in Even Strokes

Apply the dye in smooth, even strokes to prevent streaks or uneven colour. If a mistake occurs, wipe off the dye immediately with a clean cloth before it dries.

7. Allow Drying Time

Let the dyed item dry completely between coats. Drying time varies depending on conditions, but typically takes 15–30 minutes.

8. Seal (Optional)

Once the desired colour is achieved and the leather is dry, you can optionally apply a leather finisher or sealant to protect the surface and enhance durability.

9. Buff and Polish

After the final coat has dried, gently buff and polish the leather with a clean, dry cloth to achieve a smooth, lustrous finish.

10. Clean Up

Clean your applicator tools and hands immediately after use with soap and water. Ensure the dye bottle is securely closed to prevent drying out.

By following these steps, you can effectively use Angelus Leather Dye to customize and revitalize your leather items.
